The Party of National Unity demanding an immediate shift in government's priorities to scale up Education.
The Party of National Unity has addressed and condemned the Kenya Kwanza administration's calls to scrap the free education, inherited from successive governments stating that since the implementation of free education, many have benefited resulting to an increase in national literacy from 69% to 80% in the country making education the most advanced social and economic right enshrined.
The party administration also mentioned the shortages of fund allocation in education sector this year, stating that both primary and secondary schools received reduced amount of capital compared to other previous years, instead stating that the government is spending billions on countless other unnecessary expenditures and projects in the country, something that has remained questionable.
Additionally the Party of National Unity enlightened that the education is a great equalizer thus the government should prioritised maintaining the free education and stop engaging in projects that they call unnecessary expenditures.
